What are my responsibilities?

• Assess the technical feasibility of requirements, design and develop future-oriented solutions, that extends the current Siemens portfolio with the aim of driving the future of automation and analyze complex problems and find new and unconventional cloud solutions in data management area ,
• You build up prototypes quickly from scratch and evaluate the ideas in discussion with our experts and internal stakeholders ,
• You interact with other teams and contribute significantly to a definition of common components , 

• Design and develop efficient data curation, annotation, storage and integration modules for large-scale data sets in a digital ecosystem, 
• Design general data structure and relevant tools to analyze IoT data sets , 
• Design and develop customer-specific IoT/Cloud/Web solutions and applications , 
• Create working prototypes of target applications using related and required software technologies ( i.e. React, Node.js, Angular, HTML5, JavaScript, RESTful interfaces, PostreSQL, MongoDB etc. )
• Use IoT and Fieldbus protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, MQTT, AMQP, OPC UA, Profinet, BACNet, etc.) to connect industrial devices to cloud systems , 
• Test and validate the proof of concepts together with engineering teams and customers for the best optimal solutions and configurations , 
• Be a part of Software development activities including:
• Coding, unit testing and integration
• Participating in review process
• Conform to Siemens processes, quality standards and guidelines

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• BSc., MSc. or PhD in Computer Science or in related areas,
• Very good command of English,
• Minimum 2-years of experience in developing web-services and applications for diverse industries,
• Experience in data modelling, statistics knowledge, data analytics, data lakes, data warehouse, data layer, data security,
• Experience of cloud infrastructure as well as functions, modules and API - SW standards,
• Proven skills and experience in one or more following latest cloud-based application development technologies; 
• Java Script, Angular, React, Node js, Express.js
• HTML5, CSS, JS, WS
• Java, Spring Boot, Python
• PostreSQL, Mongo DB, Maria DB
• Docker, Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes
• MindShere, Azure IoT, AWS IoT, IBM Watson  
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing software applications for web/cloud and IoT platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure or IBM Bluemix etc. )

·       Willing to translate customer needs to solution design and understand technology impact

• Proven skills in web and mobile application development for IoT-based platforms is a plus

·       Flexibility in learning of new technologies and the ability of creating prototypes with the new technology

• High degree of creativity, open-mind, self-initiative, strong problem solving and analytical skills
