Sourcing Coordinator

BAT is currently looking for a Sourcing Coordinator to join our procurement team from Istanbul, Turkey.

To manage the procurement of designated indirect goods and services for BAT Turkey and support delivering the targets by managing reporting requirements.

Principal Accountabilities:

Business

·       Run and complete the sourcing activities below a certain spend threshold for BAT Turkey commercial functions, aligned and compliant with the Procurement Policy.

·       Obtain the best possible advantage for BAT Turkey through the negotiation, implementation, and management of national supply arrangements.

·       Support the implementation of the most cost-effective procurement processes, considering the requirements of internal stakeholders.

·       Support the implementation of Service Level Agreements with contracted suppliers that will promote an environment of continuous improvement and innovation.

·       To have good working relationships with other departments, especially Marketing and support functions.

Essential requirements:

·       The jobholder is required to have a relevant university diploma

·       Between 0-4 years of experience in the procurement field

·       Proficiency in English

·       Thorough knowledge of the supply chain process, supply market/environment, supplier capabilities and expected trends within Merchandising

·       Knowledge of procurement principals and processes

·       High level commercial negotiations and high level of commercial awareness

·       Proficient in communicating with multi-functional teams

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·       Understanding of risk management

·       Computer literate: Microsoft Excel: Advanced Level, Microsoft Word: Intermediate Level PowerPoint: Intermediate Level
