Process Development Engineer (Testing Technology)

Job Description

• Development and improvement of testing systems for gasoline and diesel high pressure injection components
• Start-up, ramp-up of new products, processes and production lines
• Close cooperation with production, development and quality groups to reach KPI/KPR targets of corresponding product / process
• Know-how build-up via contacts with process development groups in other plants, , internal and external machine / system suppliers
• Activity management for quality improvement, cost reduction in testing technology
• Know-How and competence development in the field of production
• Understanding for critical processes, evaluation of machine capabilities, analysis measurement influences
• Supporting / running I4.0 Projects (e.g. Traceability, Preventive Q, etc.)
• Tracking the trends in testing technology and apply them in the responsible areas

Qualifications

• University Degree in Mechanical \ Mechatronics \ Electronics Engineering
• Experience in flow and tightness testing of fuel injection sytems
• Hydraulic flow measurement Optical, tactile and electrical measurements correlating hydraulic measurements or presenting product function Tightness measurements hydr., with air, with tracer gas (e.g.:He)
• Knowledge at electrical testing / signal processing is an asset
• Knowledge in coding is an asset (Matlab, Phyton, …)
• More than 3 years of technical experience in Automotive sector in the field of testing
• Flexibile, dynamic and ability to work closely with different production departments for multiple products/processes.
• Willingness to take responsibility

• Strong commitment to customer satisfaction
• Ability to negotiate & convince others, cooperatively working within cross-functional teams
• Being able to manage complexity
• Flexible for travelling internationally
•  Advanced Turkish and English knowledge (German is asset)
