QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

REQUIREMENTS

• Economic, Engineer, Business Administration (Food Engineering, Agricultural Engineering and Industrial Engineering background is an asset),
• Min.5 years experience in Procurement,
• Min.1 year experience to negotiate packaging material categories,
• Expertise in the tools of strategic sourcing and related concepts (TCO-Total Cost of Ownership, Supplier Development, Market Research etc.),
• Experience in; ERP (SAP or Oracle) – Procurement (MM),Contract management,Supplier Management,Generating alternative sourcing techniques; contingency plan, supplying risk management tools,MS Office applications (Excel, PP etc.),

• Managing CBD (cost break down) for important categories,
• Raw material price follow up,
• Preparing strategic sourcing for important packaging material categories,
• Long term commercial agreement,
• Being familiar with budget, cost, finance mathematics,

• Cultural sensibility to work in different environments,

• Confidence, ability to make presentations, to communicate and to handle people from different backgrounds,

• Ability to negotiate large financial sums and work under pressure,

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities,

• Strong understanding of processes, procedures and policies of contract reviews in FMCG,

• Good interpersonal skills in dealing with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally,

• Proactive with a strong sense for processes and procedures,

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,

• Team player, able to meet tight deadlines and to manage a challenging workload,

• Flexible and stress tolerant,

• Willing to travel in Turkey,

• Living in İstanbul or willing to live in İstanbul.

RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

This position will be responsible for packaging materials under direct material category in Türkiye;

• As part of the BRF Banvit Procurement team, assist to packaging procurement team to develop, negotiate and implement packaging negotiation for corrugated, trays, PE Bags, Laminated Top and Bottom films and different type of packaging materials with the main stakeholders (R&D, Production, Marketing, QA and Logistics) for 3 slaughterhouses in Bandirma, Izmir and Elazig and 1 FPP plant in Bandirma,
• As a team player, taking responsibility in defining short, middle and long term packaging strategy for the region,
• Responsible for leading system design projects to improve the procurement processes and business results for those sub-categories,
• Being a member and sometimes leader of developing and implement packaging efficiency projects in close collaboration with the Slaughterhouse and FPP Operations and experts,
• Taking part in creating new ideas to data management issues and tracking targets of procurement department,
• Developing required database and creating procurement performance reports to present to the procurement and the related departments in the region,
• Collaborate with international procurement team to manage global purchase, strategic sourcing and agreements,
• Develop alternative suppliers in order to reduce cost according to quality standards,operation defined criterias and contingency plan.
