We are looking for a Safety and Environment Engineerto join us on our Journey for the future of mobility!

How You Will Contribute

In this role, you are expected to:

•             Provide in the implementation of Safety and Environment management systems, programs, and procedures to achieve the policy deployments,

•             Targeting by external interested parties' requirements and internal interested parties such as Bridgestone EU & Bridgestone Global,

•             Ensuring the SHE legal watch and compliance with the local, national & international requirements,

•             Developing and implementing the Occupational H&S Risk assessment and the Environmental Impact Analysis,

•             Coordinating Site Risk Management, studies with the Brisa Safety, Health and Environment Director and organising and managing risk management audits made by the insurance company,

•             Ensuring that all Safety, Health and Environment events are reported and investigated through detailed root cause analysis and that corrective actions are planned and implemented,

•             Making local and global root cause analysis and reporting for all recordable injury and all events,

•             To ensure that its processes are carried out by Brisa procedures, quality policies and ISO 9001, ISO45001, ISO14001, ISO27001

•             Lead ergonomics workshops and improvement activities with the function team

•             Lead Experienced in ISO14001 Environmental Management Systems, ISO45001 OHS Management Systems, ISO14064 Calculation of Greenhouse Gas Emissions, and ISO14046 Water Footprint standards preferable.

Before You Come on Board…

We believe you will fit well if you have:

•             Bachelor's Degree in engineering (Environmental etc.)

•             Minimum seven 3 of professional experience required in manufacturing Sectors

•             Minimum Class A- B Certificate

•             Effective leadership skills, including the ability to influence without direct authority and work within a big organisation.

•             Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.

•             Autonomy, organisational abilities and interpersonal skills

•             Experience in EHS training, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Management Systems (ISO 50001 knowledge is preferable)
